The Wrangler 4xe is available as a four-door 4x4 with four trims, Sport, Sahara, High Altitude and Rubicon. The Wrangler 4xe is powered by a turbocharged 2L four-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that creates 270 horsepower. With the addition of the electric motors the power increases to 375 horsepower. The all-electric range is 22 miles for a combined range of 370 miles.
Jeep is leading the charge in electric technology by installing solar-powered charging stations on key trails in the U.S. so Wrangler 4xe owners can get a full charge before taking on the trails. The Jeep Brand Level II PHEV Home Charging Station not only charges faster but it also features an easy-to-use quick-release mount, a lockable, weatherproof enclosure for either indoor or outdoor installation as well as built-in Wi-Fi connectivity that lets the user control charging anytime, anywhere via a mobile app and web portal. The battery can be fully recharged in approximately 2 hours using the Jeep Level II charger.
The Sport trim is equipped with 20-inch wheels, automatic dual-zone climate control, an 8-speaker audio system, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, cruise control, 3 USB ports, and Bluetooth.
The Sahara trim adds LED headlights and daytime running lights, ambient lighting, a 120V AC power outlet, a garage door transmitter, a satellite radio, and 7 USB ports.
The High Altitude trim features an auto-dimming rear view mirror, a HD radio, voice activated navigation, a 9-speaker performance audio system. The Rubicon trim of the Wrangler 4xe has a bigger axle, off-road suspension, heavy-duty shocks, 5 skid plates, and 17-inch wheels.

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe continues to build upon its earned reputation among off-roading enthusiasts by delivering a unique driving experience to those looking to explore. Jeep's off-road capabilities rank among the best, while this Wrangler's lighter steering, revised body mounts, retuned shocks and drivetrain have all been upgraded for an around-town experience that makes driving it a pleasure when compared to older models.
The Wrangler 4xe's hard-core off-roading capabilities aren't present in other small SUVs. Vehicles that do offer a similar level of 4x4 prowess include the Ford Bronco, and Toyota 4Runner.
